Joel Ruffner, CTS-D

Joel Ruffner is a Project Engineer at CAVT Solutions with 20 years of experience in the audio-visual industry. He holds both the CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) and CTS-D (Certified Technology Specialist-Design) credentials from AVIXA, demonstrating his deep technical knowledge and design expertise in AV systems.

Joel enjoys problem solving and working collaboratively with his colleagues to create solutions that meet client needs. He takes particular satisfaction in watching a project come to life and seeing how the right AV system can transform a space and enhance the user experience.

Outside of work, Joel would probably be sailing. He’s also open to writing future blog posts for the CAVT Solutions website, sharing insights from his years in AV.
