UMass Chan Medical School – UHealth

UMass Chan Medical School’s UHealth division required a comprehensive audiovisual deployment within the One Tech Building to support modern training, collaboration, and hybrid communication.
The goal was clear: create intuitive, standardized AV environments that provide true meeting equity—ensuring remote and in-room participants have the same high-quality experience.
CAVT Solutions partnered closely with UMass Chan’s AV team and IT stakeholders to design, engineer, and implement a scalable AV ecosystem tailored to healthcare education and operational needs.
The One Tech Building required:
- Hybrid-ready training environments
- BYOD-friendly conference rooms
- Consistent control interfaces across room types
- Integration with institutional IT standards
- Centralized monitoring and long-term scalability
In healthcare and academic environments, reliability is non-negotiable. The systems had to be intuitive for users while robust enough for enterprise-level deployment.
CAVT delivered a thoughtfully engineered AV rollout centered around two primary space types: a hybrid training room and a modern BYOD conference room.
